The Union Global Football Association, commonly known by its acronym, UGFA (pronounced: aug-fa/you-jee-effay) is a football/soccer association founded by Jeff Slatter. It was formed in the early 1970s after football was considered as sparsely-played sport - so the UGFA was formed to increase the playing of football and became the only official footballing governing association. UGFA is commonly referred to as UGSA in many parts of Antarctica due to the term "soccer" used by some countries.
History
The name was decided by Slatter himself in the 1970s and held matches in grass-fields around the Lynx Generation and last decade of PreTerra, then when UnitedTerra was soon formed, the game made a stadium in the middle of a sparsely-populated area, and local chicks started to play with soft-sponge shaped as a sphere which they played with. Slatter recruited poor chicks and gave them DAU: 5 every month (at the time it was a quite high price for a job). There were about 10 chicks working for Slatter, and 6 of the 10 chicks would have to clear the snow off the fields when it snowed and grow grass, and water the grass and keep it clean and un-muddy. The remaining 4 would help Slatter get more players, form teams and help him with matches. The chicks soon got bigger and were about 10 years old (many were 6 years old before) and soon got a pay rise to ĎÁÚ: 20 every week around 2004.
Teams were formed, and mostly named after cities and countries that would represent UGFA.
