Triskelle Waterdouse (hatched January 3rd, 1849) is a wise penguin of nobility. As King of Freezeland from 1998 to 2010, and again King from 2011 on, along with being the keeper of the Amulet of Water and The Ilùvat, he has the strength belonging of his Valnorian ancestors, whose blood runs true in him, to keep the Ilùvat and an Elemental Amulet without being corrupted.
Triskelle is wise but powerful, able to tame penguins and other beasts. His kind nature and intellectual prowess causes many to believe that Triskelle was less hardy and able than and other keepers, though Triskelle proved his worth in battle many times over and was described by Amdir as being a greater warrior than any ranger of Archet.
Background
He was born in the province of Ard Mhaca in 1849, to Gilraen and Ulmos (not to be confused with Finwe's brother). Sadly, his Father was a deadbeat, and abandoned him and his Mother when he was ten years old. They became poor without the support of Ulmos to bring in money, and moved around a lot from place to place.
Triskelle, after he graduated secondary school in Fogvale (now called Shiverpool), went off to make his way in the world. He decided to take a route through Weddell to Ard Mhaca, where he would live in Southton and become a mariner. On the way, he met Elessar Icespear, a penguin living with his colony on an Island in the sea. He travelled with Elessar to Southton, where on the way they met Luce, Vesper, and Arvan. When they made their way to Southton, he befriended Theongel Anator and met Finwe.
He got a job as a fisherman and mending nets. Secretly, after hours, Theangol and Finwe trained him in magic. He became an expert in water magic, and was given the water amulet after the former keeper passed away.
After Finwe was slain in the Khanzem, Triskelle took the Iluvat and led the Resistance. Along with an anonymous blue penguin, they defeated Whoot Smackler Whoot. During the SNowman Empire and Olde Antarctica, not much is known of what Triskelle did. What is known, is that for a time he wandered around, then settled in Ard Mhaca as a mariner.
In Colonial Antarctica, he was a revoloutionary and rebel leader. Freezeland was formed as Parliamentary Monarchy with Triskelle as leader. The country prospered under his just, yet strict reign. In 2009, an old enemy from old times returned. Darktan. He was about to stop him with two old friends, Luce and Vesper, but was sued that next day by Shroomsky. He surrendered The Ilúvat to him, but not because he had to, he could have defeated them all on the spot, but because he was wise and patient. He went back to Arda, or as the media put it, "fled home". He rallied every male and strong lad he could, and assembled them at South Pole City. Along with Mayor McFlapp, they unveiled the city's ancient weapons.
In 1998, he met an old friend from his youth, named Lasaralyn. They became close again, and eventually started dating. Before they got married, Triskelle pronounced her queen of Freezeland. Eventually, they did on Christmas 2009, and had twin chicks, a boy and a girl. However, Triskelle was a carrier for a bird version of Haemophilia, and his daughter inherited the Z chromosome. Because of her condition, they were very careful to not let her get cuts or bruises. However, this was harder than they thought and she did get one. They got the best doctors to try to cure her, but they weren't able to. However, they still were worried, and heard of a Khanz Penguin named Ratspoopin who was able to heal the sick through unknown causes. He came to them and healed Triskelle's daughter. He then became a top advisor for Trisk.
Triskelle was couped by Amluc Riam on his birthday, 2010. He fled to Mount Aura, in the Mammoth Mountains, along with many other loyal Penguins, High and Normal. They fought a huge battle, and eventually escaped through a system of caves through the mountains. He led the small army to Archet, and there they tarried until reinforcements came. When they arrived, they traversed to Club Penguin and convinced the delegates from the South Pole Council to fight. Amluc's armies attacked all sides of the USA. Triskelle's army, along with the Ninjas of Club Penguin Island, were able to hold off the forces at Club Penguin for a week, while the USA's army fought in other areas. Triskelle, along with the other keepers of the Elemental Amulets and Amdir, fought Malcur in Trans-Antarctica. Triskelle was nearly killed, but he was rescued by Luce before Malcur could, strike him. Amdir the Ranger slew Malcur, and the armies surrendered. Triskelle reclaimed his throne, but showed mercy to those that served Malcur, because they were under his spell. He was present at Amdir's coronation as King of Archet, and at the wedding of Amdir and Vesper.

(Telling the about the Amulets to a chick)
Chick: Is this real or a legend?
Triskelle: Oh, it's a real legend.
"But fear no more! I would not take these things, if it lay by the highway. Not were Ard Mhaca falling in ruin and I alone could save her, so, using the weapon of the Malcur for her good and my glory. No, I do not wish for such triumphs, Finwe."
--Triskelle denying The Ilùvat. Eventually, he took them, as Finwe's dying wish.
"For myself, I would see the Tree in flower again in the courts of the kings, and the Silver Crown return, and the Amulets lay collecting dust: Antarctica again as of old, full of light, high and fair, beautiful as a queen among other queens: not a mistress of many slaves, nay, not even a kind mistress of willing slaves."
--Triskelle, at his coronation as King of Freezeland
"Here was one with an air of high nobility such as Ulmos at times revealed, less high perhaps, yet also less incalculable and remote: one of the Kings of Yore born into a later time, but touched with the wisdom and sadness of the Elder Race. I know now why Theangel spoke his name with love. He is a captain that many would follow, that even I would follow, even under the shadow of black wings."
--An excerpt concerning Triskelle from Finwe's journal
