Background
Early Life
Thomas Lopez was born in Polaris to Paulo Lopez, a Albergue Platan immigrant and air force pilot and Maria Jenkins, an ethnic Antarctican, in 1985. He was raised in Fort Polaris, a suburb named after the actual Fort Polaris. Their condominium was located extremely close to Fort Polaris Air Force Base and Thomas would go and watch the jets that would patrol the skies. He attended Fort Polaris International School, a K-12 private boarding school set up for children with parents in the military.
Thomas, as an air force brat, was constantly on the move, travelling from base to base when he was not at school. His father inspired him to join the air force, even giving glider lessons and allowing him to use flight simulators meant to train pilots. As soon as he was sixteen, the minimum age before you could apply to join the AAF, he sent his application to join as a pilot.
Early Air Force Career
He attended the Antarctic Air Force Academy, training for three years, before being given the rank of Second Lieutenant and being assigned to his first squadron at 19. He was given a F16 Fighting Falcon and was assigned on general peacekeeping missions. When he was 20 years he received his promotion to First Lieutenant and continued to service in his squadron. He eventually decided to apply for a promotion in 2007 to Captain and lead a squadron in the 1st Stealth Fighter Squadron.
