The song was written by Meaghan and Crow, and is about Meaghan's country, Tel Ah Phon. She wrote the song because she wanted to make the country more famous. She said; "I feel that Tel Ah Phon, the country I was born in, is not very well known, and it should be, as it is full with things and stuff penguins love!".

According to Childpengu1, Meaghan wanted a colorful cover for the song. "She wanted something really colorful, and she wanted an 'M' behind all. What we did was to put the photo of her in the cover for 'CandyLand' and repeat it, just changing the colors." "It looks very original!" said Meaghan in an interview with DJ Crow in Tel Ah Phon. The name of Crow doesn't appear on the cover.
