This page shows all unlockables of Super Smash Mates Brawl.

Unlock Characters

All hidden characters and how to unlock them. Any of the options will satisfy the condition.

Unlock Kwiksilver

• Play five matches in Brawl

• Avoid 10 projectiles

• Get Kwiksilver to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Bucket

• Play 10 brawls

• Finish Classic mode on any difficulty level

• Get Bucket to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Fred 676

• Play 22 brawls

• Beat Classic with no continues

• Get Fred to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Sniper Bot

• Play 50 brawls

• Clear the 100-Man Brawl

• Have Sniper Bot join your team in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Akbaboy

• Play 70 Brawls

• Beat Classic Brawl Mode on the Normal difficulty setting or greater in less than 12 minutes

• Get Akbaboy to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Sensei

• Play 100 brawls

• Beat Break the Targets on all difficulty levels (Playing in either 1 or 2 player mode will satisfy this condition.)

• Get Sensei to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Eclipse

• Play 130 brawls

• Play 15 brawls on The Sunset Cage

• Get Eclipse to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Ben Hun

• Play 160 brawls

• Get 250 different trophies

• Get Ben Hun to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Questisbak

• Play 200 matches or more in Brawl

• Using either Star Kirby12 or Richperson, clear Classic on Hard difficulty or higher

• Get Questisbak to join your party in The Subspace Emissary (To do that, save Richperson in Cyberspace toward the end of the adventure. Questisbak appears after you clear the stage.)

Unlock Pufflechu

• Fight in 250 brawls

• Clear Break the Targets with 30 different characters on any single difficulty level

• Have Pufflechu join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Coool31

• Play 300 brawls

• Beat Classic mode with 10 different characters

• Play in brawls for 10 hours

• Get Coool31 to join your party in The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Maddieworld

• Play 350 brawls

• Beat 20 or more Events after clearing The Subspace Team-Up

• Pass through the first hidden door in the Bureau of Fiction area after completing The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Link

• Play 400 brawls

• After clearing The Subspace Team-Up, clear Classic mode

• After clearing The Subspace Team-Up, enter the hidden door in The New Forest

Unlock Plasma Bot

• Play 450 brawls

• Beat the Boss Battles mode with Leonid or Sniper Bot after completing The Subspace Team-Up

• Pass through the hidden door in The Serious Maze after completing The Subspace Team-Up

Unlock Metal Knight

• Play 500 brawls

• Complete the Boss Battles with 5 different characters.

• Collect 300 trophies.

Unlock Darktan

•Play 550 brawls

•Complete the SubSpace Team-Up.

•Defeat Master Hand, Mayor McFlapp, Director Benny and Crazy Hand in Classic mode difficulty Not Kidding.

Unlock Mayor McFlapp

•Play 579 brawls.

•Play in the Bureau of Fiction 30 times.

•After beating the SubSpace Team-Up, pass through the second hidden door in the Bureau of Fiction in Adventure Mode.

Unlock Director Benny

•Play 600 brawls.

•Defeat him 15 times.

•After beating the SubSpace Team-Up, complete the 100-man brawl.

Unlock DJ X

•Play 622 brawls.

•Press the hidden button in the Sounds area.

•Unlock 100 different songs.

Unlock Austin8310

•Play 650 brawls.

•Using Penghis Khan, slap 425 smashers.

•Finish Classic Mode 35 times in any difficulty.

Unlock Thunder Von Storm

•Play 688 brawls.

•Use the Snowball Gun item, hit 100 enemies.

•Play in the Battle Field 625 times.

Unlock Wally

•Play 700 brawls.

•Use the Bill Gate$ Assist Trophy 100 times.

•Unlock the Super Penguins HQ.

Unlock Pencilsmith

•Play 750 brawls.

•Use 800 items.

•Defeat 258 puffle smashers(ex. Kerbpuff)

Unlock General Sharpener

•Play 777 brawls.

•Do 853 combo attacks.

•Tip the ViiMote 489 times.

Unlock Captain B

•Play 800 brawls.

•Use 956 water attacks.

•Unlock 500 things.

Unlock CDs

  • Unlock Card-Jitsu Fire Battle Song: Play in 10 SSMJ levels
  • Unlock Card-Jitsu Water Dojo Song: Play as characters from SSMJ(Explorer, Star, Person, Metal Knight, etc.)
  • Unlock Super Star 64 Jet Pack Theme: Use Jet Pack Fly in combat with the Jetpack Item.
  • Unlock Amigopen's Battle Theme: Clear Classic Mode with Amigopen.
  • Unlock Tails6000's Theme Remixed: Defeat Serious Lion with Tails6000.
  • Unlock Mission Stage(Tiny Defense): Complete 15 missions.
  • Unlock Victory(Tiny Defense): Defeat Serious Lion with a Tiny Defense Character.
  • Unlock Duck Life Race(Remixed): Avoid a Duck Assist Trophy 5 times.
  • Unlock Tritan's Theme: Use the Tobot Tritan Assist Trophy.
  • Unlock The Fall of Titan: Avoid Tobot Titan's attacks.
  • Unlock Acnii's Attack: Attack a Tobot Assist Trophy 10 times(not that it works)
  • Unlock Mechagopen Song: Use the Mechagopen Final Smash 5 times.
  • Unlock Glacier Land Song:Unlock Sniper Bot
  • Unlock Iron Fortress Song:Unlock Plasma Bot
  • Unlock Tritan's Theme(Remixed): Inflict at least 300% to an opponent with Tritan.
