Shelly is a turtle.
History
Shelly hatched from her egg in the incubator in the mid-70s and was sent to a pet shop to be owned by someone. Shelly was different from other Turtles. First, she could talk. She was also considered weird and didn't make friends with there other pets. The pet store owner didn't like her that much and considered her a ditz. Other penguins passed adopting her because they felt the same way.
Things got worse when Shelly invented a generator that could power all of Antarctica. However, it had a reverse effect, causing the entire continent to receive a blackout. She was put into a pen and was forced to stay there until she got adopted. She was saddened since she couldn't talk to anyone anymore, but then realized that nobody really had want to talk to her. She just sat down and sighed most of the time.
At the pen, she saw a small pond. In there was a koi named Taylor. They became friends instantly. Shelly got sympathy from the pet store owner, and he let her make inventions for Taylor, like a waterproof sewing machine. Shelly enjoyed watching Taylor make clothing and other forms of art.
Shelly thought that no penguin wanted to adopt her even more because of what she did. But she would be adopted; just not by a penguin. A mushroom named Eborpas wanted a pet, so it went into that pet shop and saw Shelly. It knew that Shelly was good at electric things, so it adopted her so she could work at the Awesome Drama Theater to put up lights, sound equipment, wires, switches, etc. She helped with the lights and sound in the first play and many play after that.
Although the play was a hit, Shelly didn't get recognition because not many people paid attention to the technicians. Shelly was okay about this, but Eborpas wanted her to get the popularity he thought she deserved. He began to make her techniques more public, and other producers began using them.
Involvement
As stated from above, Shelly works with the electronics in stage plays at the Awesome Drama Theater. She's always trying to improve the machines to make them better and sometimes does. She is the pet of Eborpas and he keeps a constant eye on her so she won't do anything crazy again.
Personality
Shelly is ecstatic, giddy, and absent-minded. Her head is usually "in the clouds" and is thinking of inventing.

- Her relationship with Eborpas is an antonymous parody of Shroomsky and Turtleheimer's friendship.
- She already caused a blackout in Antarctica 3 times.
- Shelly is a terrapin, based on the Red Eared Slider.
- She lives in a tank in Eborpas's house next to Taylor's pond. She swims with him sometimes.
- Shelly can be a biped or a quadruped. That is, she can walk on 2 legs, or on all four.
