The Confederate Republic of Western Maps Island, royal title Royal Monarchy and legislature title Confederate Republic when applied, was a constitutional monarchy consisting of twenty states that claims to govern over the west of Maps Island, bordering the Democratic Republic of Eastern Maps Island and its territory overlapping with the Sovereign Entity of Maps Island. It was formed after the separation of the Republic of Maps, and headed by Louis Mark Chantam. In February 2011, the Liberation of Mapsian Territories started a conflict over the CRWM's borders overlapping with that of its own. Due to the current state of the nation, the United Antarctic Nations and the South Pole Council no longer recognized any of the three countries.
The confederation is divided into twenty states: the Governing State of Esproich, the State of Elvria, State of Oystia and the State of Combrivia, commonly known as the Medium Three, and sixteen other states commonly referred to as The Other Sixteen States of CRWM. These states were formed on the 29th as partially independent states before merging into the Confederation. Laws differ between each state yet the crime activity remains low.
Origins
The Republic of Maps split on the 31st of May, 2009 when the then ruler IrishProvo1918 resigned after a series of economical dilemmas. At the time, there were actually two-hundred and nineteen states with claimed sovereignty. The State of Esproich, which was governed by Louis Mark Chantam, formed an alliance with the neighbouring State of Elvria. The state then petitioned for a merger to form a new republic, under the name Republic of HM, Mark Chantam, Louis, with the other 207 states. Several states, that include the State of Oystia, the State of Combrivia, the State of Hoppa and the State of Eltriala, signed the petition, but the new republic's name had to be changed, therefore Chantam renamed it the Confederate Republic of Western Maps Island. These all took place within a span of two hours, thanks to the advent on Internet and Intranet technology.
The CRWM had only six member states, but the State of Hoppa and the State of Eltriala both separated into many different states, thus known as the "Other Sixteen States". The CRWM declared independence at 12:00pm, Maps Standard Time, on May the 31st of 2009. At the same time, the Democratic Republic of Eastern Maps Island, formed out of a state of the same name, declared sovereignty. Other "partially independent" states soon succumbed and merged with the DREM. Eventually, all the remaining states merged into the DREM.
June 1st marked the official Assembly of Temporary Parliament, with Louis Mark Chantam as General Minister. The Parliament Cabinet, which is the executive body on the ATP, was made up of each ruler of the twenty states, the Minister of Ecology, Diversity and Conformity, and the Minister of Minister Administration. Elections were scheduled to be held on the last day of June. Each of the twenty-two people would contest in these elections.
2009 CRWM King Elections
On June the 2nd, the twenty-two independent candidates along with five other citizens took part in the election. Each first contested in their base state, and then started moving out to other states. There was a serious fight ongoing between Louis Mark Chantam and Dover Leon Smith, both the rulers of the State of Esprioich and one of the Sixteen States respectively. Eventually, Louis Mark Chantam won and was renamed King Humuhumunukunukuapua'a I, to mock the traditional tribal naming coronations.
2011 Wars and Snoss Overthrowal
Some time during the 2011 Maps Island border conflict, while the Snoss and Castillans were fighting their own war, King Chantam asked Kaiser Swiss Ninja of Snowzerland to join him on a summit to discuss about helping them in the Maps Island Conflict. When Swiss Ninja did arrive and seemed vyr friendly. Then, on the day of the summit, he asked the king to have a private chat with him. Instead of a chat, Swiss Ninja killed King Chantam and claimed the Confederate Republic to be part of Snowzerland. While Castilla allied with the Republic, the Snoss and the Confederates went to war with them and were luckily able to drive the Castillans out of the island, leaving the Snoss and the Confederates the victors to the Maps Island Conflict...so they thought so. The Snoss had obliterated both sides of Maps City with all the battles, but the Snoss united the nation into one colony. Swiss Ninja then captured the terrorists who didn't approve with foreign rule, and was about to kill their leader, Carter, when the Castillans came back and reconquered the island by nearly killing Swiss Ninja.

Government
The Confederate Republic of Western Maps Island is a constitutional monarchy in which the Autonomous Parliament (or AP) is divided into six divisions:
- HM the Royal Administrator of Western Maps and General Minister of the Confederate Republic, the Office of
- HH the Royal Administration of Western Maps and Royal Administrator of State, the Offices of
- Legislature Administration of Western Maps and State Minister of Parliament, the Offices of the
- Legislature Administration of Western Maps and Appointed Minister of Parliament, the Offices of the
- Legislature Administration of Western Maps and Civil Servant of the Confederate Republic, the Cubicles of
- Judiciary Commission of Western Maps and General Judge of State, the Offices of
People are appointed into one of the six divisions through Royal Elections held every four years. During the Royal Elections, people would vote for a suitable king/Royal Administrator of Western Maps/General Minister of Confederate Republic (equivalent to the President of the USA or Prime Minister of Parliamentary Republics). He would then appoint his cabinet of ministers and judges and form his group. The last and only Royal Election held to date was in June 2009, after the break-up of the Republic of Maps. Louis Mark Chantam won the election and gave the order for his title to be as such. People are prohibited from mocking or criticizing the king's formal title.
Louis Mark Chantam, being an influential figure for forming the CRWM, also had the right to write the Constitution, and thus came up with the six divisions. He is in the first division, the Office of HM the Royal Administrator of Western Maps and General Minister of the Confederate Republic. He also recruited several high-ranking officials from the previous Republic of Maps to be in his office. The officers are: David Colloso (Minister of Security, Minister of Telecommunications), Rubert Handerso Okyolovue (Minister of Culture, Minister of Infrastructure), January April Marchingston (Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economics) and Duplex Handerson (Minister of Education, Minister of Health). All these are also each head the Offices of the Legislature Administration of Western Maps and State Minister of Parliament. More would be discussed when we reach that topic.
Being a confederation, each state had a state king, or Royal Administrator of State, as a representative for their respective state. They would address the issues in their states and control affairs within that state. The State Ministers are a class below theirs, therefore the kings were able to order the State Ministers to fix problems or pass on their suggestions, with the permission of the Royal Administrator of Western Maps (General Minister).
The Legislature Administration of Western Maps consists of ministries that control certain aspects of the nation, such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, trade etc. The State Ministers manages these aspects of the country along with their Appointed Members and Civil Servants. The Judiciary Commission, on the other hand, maintains law and order within the country.
The nibble-sized population of the Confederation made it relatively hard to maintain a social class pyramid within the country, so the Confederation created another class, the Civilians class, which includes all civilians, young and old, which are registered. This caused speculation of a socialist society with a nationalized economy.
To elect these members of Parliament, elections are held every four years. Each election would be held sometime in June or July and only allows independents to participate. The Royal Administration of Collective Elections and Related handles these elections.
Political spectrum
The government of the CRWM is known for it's position in the political spectrum. The government claimed it was a "centre-right" administration, but this had bee debated against during the year of 2010. People questioned the government's policies, such as the economic reform and the social classing. Eventually reports that Louis Mark Chantam, the current General Minister, was a Marxist-Leninst. Hr constantly emphasized on "a nationalized economy whereby the employed are of their statue rather than capabilities."
The State of Elvia's Royal Administrator of State commented on these controversies, quote:
"These rumors are only focused on the negative aspects rather than the positive. His Majesty has not imposed rules on employment wages, ad well as taxes and other necessities. Louis had personally told,e that he was reconsidering his decision got economic rotmd, and instead sought strengthening relationships with it neighbors go improve the economy. The fact that he allows a market economy and encourages external relations with other sovereign states, it is correct to say that he Is not a leftist, not one bit."
Demographics
The government conducted it'd last census in April 2010. The results shown below are indicative of the April 2010.
Population statistics
The country, along with it's eastern counterpart, are known for their very lowly dense population per square unit, possibly the lowest in the whole of Antarctica, The Penguin Times reported.
In an official press statement, the government revealed details about the population of each state and the population density of each state.
Th state of Esprioch is reported to have the highest population, with 800 thousand registered citizens residing thhrt. On the other and, the state of Olives had the smallest population, with approximately 10,000 intellectuals living there.
