Rogues de la Rive-Sud (English: Rogues of the Southern Shore), or Les Rogues, was a Fascist extreme left-wing insurgent militia that sought to overthrow Olde Antarctica through its state, Roguesia. The group lasted from 1964 to June 16, 1969. The group guised itself as the Azillians' Nationalist Party during the 1966 Elections of Azilda, before invading the country two years later and creating the short-lived state of Roguesia.
It was known for starting the Old World vs. New World conflict aimed to overthrow the mainland empire and was also the benefactor of various insurgent groups that succeeded and surpassed it. Les Rogues would leave behind a legacy that would indirectly influence the Colonial Antarctica War, between the Loyalists and the Revolutionaries. Even today, neo-Roguesian supporters continue to protest in monarchies such as Freezeland, although their influence has been largely abated.
Origins and Beginnings
Les Rogues started as a small coalition of Frankterran immigrant members who campaigned against the Olde Antarctica monarchy, seeing how the Republic of Sherby Hoodwounds replaced the Principality of Sherby Hoodwounds four years back. They were spread around Hoodwounds Island, consisting of Sherby Hoodwounds and Azilda, and sent out members to Olde Antarctica to protest and spread the word.
During the terrorist attacks of Azilda throughout 1964, Les Rogues played an active role in seeking support from Azillians to go against Sherby, seeing how Diana V continued to lead a large impact on Sherbians' lives, "causing" the attacks. This was a major win for Les Rogues.
