Gaillard Flappers is an Albatross who works for Eborpas.
History
Gailard was born some years ago in a village on an island. He loved literature and wanted to be an author when he grew up. After grade school, he moved to Antarctica to get a degree in literature and started to write short storied and poems for magazines. Later, he turned one of his stories, entitled Summer Sleeping, about puffles into a play, and wanted to have it produced, but had no luck. Then he met Eborpas who had a hard time finding plays about puffles. They agreed to work together and when the play was released, it only got good reviews from puffles while avians thought it was so-so or bad. Gaillard was about to quit, but Eborpas pleaded him to stay, and write another play. Eborpas then went on looking for a director.
It wouldn't be for another 18 months until Gaillard would have a successful play. His second play about puffles, Light of the Moon, directed by Director Jenny, was a success, and like Jenny and Eborpas, he became a star. He wrote many other plays for Eborpas, and has been given roles than playwright, including an actor and director.
Gailard has a house near Eborpas' stage.
Personality
Gaillard is sociable and intellectual. He likes reading, writing, talking, and listening. He goes out for parties a lot and enjoys playing word games. He is generally friendly and helpful and is liked by many people. Gaillard is a nature bird and loves the great outdoors. Pastimes other than literature related stuff include hiking, camping, swimming, and of course, flying. However, he stinks at landing.
Gaillard keeps a diary and writes in it every day about the events that happened and how they made him feel. The diary is for personal reasons only, as Gaillard doesn't base his writing off himself. He takes pride in his works and often strives for perfection. Whenever he finishes a play, he reads it aloud to himself to see if the dialog makes sense. Also, in order to get the basic dialect of the people in the setting he writes about, he goes there with a notepad and writes down what people say, how they say it, and why.
