The Featured Image is a celebration of Club Penguin Fanon's talented artistic community by showcasing their work on the main page. You can nominate an image on this page by following the regulations listed there.

History

Featured Image originally began alongside the now defunct Featured Quote on March 6, 2009 as a weekly vote in which images were nominated and voted by the community here. This system suffered from a lack of participation and was hardly as weekly as the premise had intended, leading to it being reworked in May 2011. In the new system, images were chosen by administrators almost every week to be displayed on the main page, which lasted until PenblooeR's demotion in September 2012. After the final weekly picture in September 2012, new images were only chosen at random times until June 2013, when the current system was set up. Almost every month from then until 2017 showcased a new featured image, still chosen by an administrator. In February 2017, a Council topic passed that changed the featured image from being updated once a month to twice a month. At the same time, a section for users to nominate images was added to this page, which in 2021 was moved to the page it is currently on. The lack of updates in 2020 and 2021 were due to long periods of the wiki being down.
